Flint Motel at North Dort Highway, Flint, Michigan.

i have stayed in this motel a few times. yes there are alot of things that still need major improvements. our last stay was back in early spring 2017. granted there are roaches and bedbugs sometimes there were people staying there that got into some pretty loud arguments. loud music as well. But we needed a place to stay for a while that could accommodate our needs which included the need to be able to make meals so a room with kitchenette was right for us. we were in search of a new home while staying here. I will tell you it was not the cleanest but the 2nd issue we faced was being able to have our dog with us as well. No other places would allow pets. So we made our stay there as best we could.with a little elbow grease alot of cleaning supplies and pest control products, we cleaned the room from top to bottom. we hade our own bedding that we used we kept as many things as we could in air tight containers. We were there for about a month but after the first 4 days we no longer saw any pests. when we did end our stay I again cleaned the room from top to bottom. put their bedding back on the bed but we left the ones we brought with us. I also used my own vacuum throughout our stay. We were treated very well by the staff, with a few minor misunderstandings (which didnt bother me) they never had problems with us and we had none with them. So to complete this review, for all the commodities of a decent price for our room and keeping our dog with us, our stay was apparently much better than others reviewing this place. i suggest to anyone who may want a room there ASK TO SEE THE ROOM BEFORE PAYING to know what your getting into. if your not satisfied its best you find somewhere else. THANK YOU Flint Motel staff for friendly service, and meeting the accomodations we needed. WHEN WE DID MOVE INTO A NEW HOME ALONG WITH ALL THE THINGS WE HAD HERE AND TOOK WITH US THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE ISSUE OF ANY PESTS IN ANY OF OUR BELONGINGS.
